URBAN PENTHOUSE · CONCEPT 03

Cloudline Residence

Traditional furniture enters contemporary city life through open scale, restrained materials and alternating daylight and skyline views.

SPATIAL CONCEPT · NOT A COMPLETED PROJECT
PROJECT BRIEF

The city outside; composure within.
with calm within.

Stone, pale surfaces and low-saturation textiles quiet the background. Each piece is placed for a distinct act: meeting, writing, tea, rest, dining or display.

Living and dining areas remain connected to the views. Stone, microcement and muted textiles quiet the background. Nanmu pieces are placed individually for conversation, writing, tea, rest and collections, each with appropriate viewing distance and space for use.

01 / ARRIVAL GALLERY

Space at the entrance,
then a collection unfolds.

The entrance avoids heavy partitions. Paired vase-form shelves create a focal point, with plant stands against the side wall. Lighting outlines structure and objects while keeping views toward the living room and city open.

02 / GLASS STUDY

A contemporary study,
centred on a well-made desk.

Glass connects the study to shared spaces. The writing desk extends across the room with an official's-hat chair behind it. Ripple grain leads the desktop, finer raindrop grain accents the drawers, and restrained lighting serves work and reading.

NANXU / BEFORE ORDERING

From a favourite piece to a workable home

Use the display to explore form and placement. Match material records, finished dimensions and delivery scope to the actual piece or approved drawing before ordering.

Material and provenance
Ask which parts use the main and secondary materials. Request the current piece ID, daylight views and details; match any provenance or test records to that piece.
Dimensions and use
Published dimensions are references. Confirm finished outer dimensions, usable clearances and space for doors, chairs, drawers and circulation; arrange a site measurement for custom work.
Structure and finish
Discuss joints, panel assembly, repairs, finishes, hardware and care. Include agreed grain photographs and acceptable variation in the confirmation record.
Quotation and delivery
Confirm furniture, packing, transport, stairs and installation separately. Record timing, non-removable component sizes, acceptance checks and follow-up arrangements.

Consider the piece in a room

These are conceptual furnishing proposals, not completed client projects. Materials, dimensions and final results require separate confirmation.

City apartment: a considered focal piece

Start with a table, cabinet or pair of chairs. View the whole piece in daylight and evening light, allowing space for chairs, doors and circulation.
